The Cambridgeshire Student Forum is a programme to connect school councils and student unions from across the area, building a platform for young people to develop into local changemakers whilst developing student voice across Cambridgeshire.
The programme is youth-led, but supported and facilitated by Unloc. Every participating school or college elects or selects their representatives. The young people that form the Student Forum from all the participating institutions then:
Decide on their priorities for the year and form their own ‘action groups’
Elect an Action Group Leaders
Decide what topics and speakers they’d like to have involved at each Student Forum summit
Design an end-of-year celebration called ‘Student Voice Celebration Day’
